Formerly known as the “Zesty Restaurant”, this Vancouver favourite has only changed in name. Famous for its laid-back feel, comfortable seating and great eats, it’s no wonder Zawa has been open and thriving since 1997. A long bar with stools and granite counter top is a good spot for an after work drink, and the 65 inch screen shows all the popular sports games for those more relaxed nights.
You won’t be lacking for choice at Zawa. With an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, this menu caters to everyone from the adventurous to the ultra-picky. A children’s menu is great for families, while other menus boast favourites from burgers and steak to lamb to seafood. For those who love pasta, the options are endless and choices for vegetarians are much the same. The 5-Layer High Five Chocolate Cake and Tower of Power Cheesecake are also high up on the tasting list.
Zawa can hold more than 100 people, but book early to reserve the party space. For smaller groups, enjoy the patio all-year round, with built in heaters that kick in every winter. During the fall and winter months, Zawa enjoys bringing in live entertainment – from stand-up comedy acts to events dedicated to charity. Highly involved in giving back to the community, Zawa staff are proud supporters of several local groups.
