Opening with a bang, locals flocked to this restaurant by the group, which has sustained its popularity and consistency to this day. The loyal returning customers are a testament to the owner’s personal attention to the details. Focusing on serving no-nonsense food in an unpretentious environment, regulars are seen time and time again, revisiting for the organic and local produce they have come to expect. The lunch menu is served cafeteria style with deli choices. There are usually five daily pasta specials and a handful of entrées such as rockfish or salmon.
By Night
As the light dims, the room begins its transformation into a more mature mood. The ambiance is more formal, yet cozy, the crowd dressed up, and table service starts. The a la carte menu is every-changing to keep patrons on their toes and includes the standard classic Italian favourites such as Fettucine Alfredo and many pasta choices, to more imaginative selections like peas and Gorgonazola or Chicken Liver Pate. Saturday nights are the only time you can make reservations, and booking is a requirement.
