For Moms & Babies, Kids and Youths
Nichole Murray and guest teachers run more than 20 classes a week, scheduled for a range of experience and styles. Hatha yoga is the classical form of yoga, which increases muscle tone, improves flexibility and concentration, and promotes deep relaxation. Anusara, meaning flowing with grace, is an integrated form of hatha yoga that blends the art of inner body awareness with the science of biomechanics. Power yoga links classic yoga postures together with a flowing breath. Alignment principles are integrated to build body awareness and deepen awareness. Kundalini yoga focuses on the controlled release of kundalini energy, using classic poses, breath, coordination of breath and movement, and meditation.

Class Levels
The Gentle Level is ideal for people recovering from injury and for those wanting a more relaxed class. The Flow classes move gently and fluidly through the postures, and basic alignment and breath work are introduced. Stretch classes bring freedom to the hip and shoulder joints to relieve pain and tension in the legs, arms, chest and spine. Foundation classes, for more advanced students, emphasize the connectedness of the body and breath and fundamental principles of alignment. In Level 1 classes, poses are held and repeated to allow the body to release tension, develop awareness, and increase strength. Level 2 classes are higher intensity, with poses held for longer, making higher demands on strength and flexibility.

Weekend Workshops and Seminars
Preregistration is required for workshops on Hip opening yoga; Yoga for your back, Yoga for Athletes; Body Rolling; Partner yoga; Standard and Emergency First Aid; and Meditation. Informational seminars include the philosophy of yoga, back safety, the chakra system, and ayurveda.
