The Scene
The name says it all. This bar and grill offers a fun and exciting place to eat, drink and socialize. X-Site is a popular hang out for the young swingers from SFU and the BCIT techies. But this is not the bar’s exclusive clientele, as they invite and welcome customers from all walks of life. This party palace offers pitchers of beer for less than a tenner, a $2.50 highball, and martinis for under five bucks. After a hard day of hitting the books, organizing projects, writing exams, or even after a hard day of work, these deals are a difficult offer to pass up. So, head down to this Hastings hang out, and take the edge off with some good old fashioned fun! Saturday night is party night; where you can even book X-Site and bring your own band. Round up all your friends and groupies and kick it live. End the weekend on a high note before school days resurface on Monday, as Sunday night is jazz night from 8 until 11.

They have chicken wing specials on Mondays, and for the nacho lovers, your night is Tuesday. X-Site also offers a great selection of steaks: New York, peppercorn, and/or Teriyaki. The sandwiches, burgers and pastas all come with salad, while respectable dishes like Fettuccini Alfredo and simple curries arrive with your choice of prawns, chicken or shrimp with a garlic bread garnish.
