Located in the heart of the city, steps away from the scenic Inner Harbour and right behind the Empress Hotel, Victoria Conference Centre is a convenient place to meet. The centre is bright and modern, and features technically advanced systems. From intimate groups to conferences welcoming 1,500 delegates, the VCC can accommodate you and your guests. The 73,000 square feet of meeting space includes 16 multi-purpose meeting rooms named after different Island municipalities, a large exhibit hall and a 400-seat lecture theatre. The look of the centre is decidedly West Coast, with lots of wood accents, greenery and First Nations art, including a totem pole in the plaza atrium.
Full-service Centre
Planning an event at the Victoria Conference Centre is a breeze thanks to the professional and experienced staff. The VCC event planners work closely with clients to ensure every detail of their event is planned. Technical setup, security and catering can all be arranged through the centre. VCC also invites guests to make use of the business centre. There, employees carry out a variety of duties on clients’ behalf, such as kit stuffing, registration and printing. If your event is a celebratory affair, the centre provides talented decorators and can even arrange entertainment. No matter what you need, VCC can provide!
Shop the Conference Block
After a memorable conference or meeting, VCC guests can head to the shops to pick up something by which to remember their visit. Boutiques located right in the centre, such as Silver Lining Jewellers, Something Fishy Salmon Gifts and Victoria Jade and Gems, sell an exciting range of fashions, jewelry, West Coast art and souvenirs. If you need a snack or a gourmet coffee, visit Liberty Java and Juice. And when all your work is done, you can visit Five Star Whale Watching and plan an expedition. Money exchange and photo finishing are also available.
