A rainbow of colours
The Vancouver Pride society is dedicated to supporting members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. Located in the heart of Davie Village, the society invites people of all backgrounds to learn more about their organization by staging several popular events such as the annual Pride Parade and Festival.
Be part of pride
You can become part of pride by becoming a member! For a small cost, individual memberships can be purchased at Little Sisters Book & Art Emporium or Priape, both located on Davie Street. Discounts are available at local merchant member stores when you show your Pride membership. You can also get involved in the “red, orange and yellow” by becoming a volunteer. Lend a hand at local events during the annual Pride Season each August. Check out the VPS website and fill out a volunteer form.
Events abound
The Vancouver Pride Society actively supports various events throughout the year within the city, and invites all of the communities to join them in the festivities. From the Picnic in the Park, to breakfasts, to movies nights, everyone is welcome to join them in the celebrations and activities.
