YVR
The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the major airport on the West Coast that is closest to Asia and is as user-friendly as they come. YVR’s terminals are architecturally striking, with the rugged beauty of British Columbia and the rich, cultural heritage of its people celebrated in the design and public art on display. The airport employs the latest technology, and offers more than 140 shops, services and restaurants to provide first class customer service to passengers and airport visitors. YVR served 16.4 million passengers in 2005 and expects to serve 21 million in 2010.

Airport Location
The Vancouver International Airport is located 15 kilometres from downtown Vancouver. It is easily accessible via major highways 99 and 91. It takes approximately 25 minutes to get to the airport from downtown Vancouver, but take traffic into consideration and give yourself longer to get there, especially during morning and evening rush hour.

Parking
There is no shortage of parking spaces available in any of the airport's four distinct parking facilities, including economy, short-term and long-term parking. There's even a valet service where travellers can rest assured that their vehicle is in good hands until they return.
