The Grand Old Lady
Inaugurated in the year 1910, the Vancouver Golf Club is one of the most venerable and respected private golf clubs in British Columbia, if not the entire country. It’s located only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver in the beautiful suburb of Coquitlam. You won’t find a more attractive place for the business of golf, and you’ll often find prominent Vancouver business leaders on the greens.
It’s all about the Golf
Pride of the Club is the challenging championship 18-hole course that sprawls over a woodland park setting of over 176 acres. The front nine has traditional greens and mountain vistas, and is slightly hillier than the flatter back nine. Fairways are lined with dense first-and second-growth forest. Practice facilities include a covered driving range, two par 3 practice holes, three putting greens, and a large all-grass practice area.
Membership, Groups and Socials
The Club welcomes new members and openings are available in Full Play Mens & Ladies as well as Social and Dining. Take a tour to find out about the benefits of membership. The Club caters to special groups for various levels including ladies, seniors, business and juniors. Throughout the year the Club hosts a number of special theme nights and holiday celebrations, such as Christmas lunch, the New Years Eve's Gala, and the spring golf fashion show. Dining facilities are open six days a week (closed Mondays) between April and October. The Fairways Grill offers casual dining inside and outside, featuring weekend brunch as well as daily lunch and dinner, and has a bar and lounge.
