Tasteful Bistro
Located on the very trendy Hamilton Street, in the heart of Yaletown, Urban Thai Bistro seats 130 at its trendy bar and tables. The menu is slightly more diverse than their mother restaurant, containing Thai fusion dishes with evocative flavours… such as ostrich bathed in red, green or yellow curry and New Zealand lamb chops grilled with Thai spices. All the favourites are available too, from Tom Yum Ta-Lay and Tom Kah Gai soups to steamy chicken and pork curries. The spice scale is adjustable for the brave or those less daring.

Local food critics have been heaping accolades on the Bistro since it opened in 2000 – most notably, Vancouver Magazine – and Georgia Straight has been recommending the views over hip Yaletown from its patio for almost as many years. You’ll find a diverse crowd chowing down at the Bistro – from the business crowd taking advantage of ultra cheap lunch specials to Yaletown locals and tourists in the evening.
