Profile Last Updated: January 08, 2009
This executive length course has become the home of more than three hundred tournaments a year, partly because of its playability. But those events draw the usually mix of low handicaps and rank amateurs, so be prepared to wait at any given tee box.
While You Wait
Have a cold one. On course amenities include a licensed refreshment stand, which keeps more than tournament goers cool.
But Don't Lose Your Concentration
Tsawassen's layout includes enough water to punish the lazy, and a couple of par threes that take a well hit tee shot and a better than average performance on the green if you're looking for par.
A Chip Shot Away
Because they cater to tournaments, they cater for tournaments, and anyone else who wants to stage an event at their well equipped banquet and BBQ facilities. But there's still room in the restaurant for regular golfers like you and me.
By the Ferries
Actually, if you see a ferry, turn a round and head the other way. But begin by following the signs from the city toward BC Ferry depot. Take Hwy 99 through the Deas Tunnel, then take the Hwy 17 exit south and follow it all the way along to 52nd St. Go left, and the course will soon be on your right.
