The dramatic space features high ceilings, stonewalls and massive windows framed with lush drapery. While there is no water view, the old brick wall through the windows offers a uniquely urban sight. Elegant and sophisticated, the restaurant also features contemporary lighting and furnishings, fine tableware and an impressive collection of original art. It’s hard to believe that this Victoria institution once made its home in a strip mall on Douglas Street before moving to the seaside digs in 2006.
