Beach Front Log Cabins
A full service hotel, spa, resort and conference centre, the Tigh-Na-Mara is bordered by 22-acres of forest and the sandy beaches along the Straight of Georgia. There are 192 Fir and Cedar log-cabin-style guest rooms available including spa bungalows, ocean view suites and authentic stand-alone log cabins. Despite the rustic nature of the accommodations, each room features a host of modern amenities and many include kitchens, wood burning fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs.
Canada’s Warmest Waters
The sandy beach that lines the property gives way to Pacific Ocean tidal pools that can heat up to 25 degrees Celsius in the summertime – the warmest ocean waters in Canada. But while Ocean swimming can be the highlight of any trip to the Tigh-Na-Mara, the resort offers much more. Mountain biking, kayaking, whale watching, golfing, horseback riding, clam digging and hiking are just a few options. The nearby Horne Lake Caves and Milner Gardens are great to explore. Onsite, guests will find an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, fitness facility and tennis courts. Meanwhile, those looking for a little pampering will enjoy the 20,000 square-foot Grotto Spa.
