After a gown is chosen, alterations begin, sometimes extensive and sometimes minor. Fittings last for 30 minutes and the dress can usually be finished in two to three weeks. Conversely, rentals are another way to wear the gown of your dreams without making a large purchase. For those who are looking for larger sizes, try Tiffany’s Plus Bridal Boutique for up to size 30. For those on a budget, there’s even an option of buying a gown on consignment (and selling it after the wedding, too).

Accessories are also available and men go through a quick process of measurements and a fitting once the tux has arrived. They can pick it up a few days before the wedding and return it the next business day.
