Start by choosing your flavour of chicken: Lemon herb, Cajun, barbecue, firebird, spicy or honey, and watch it grill through the window to the visible kitchen. Next, decide how you’d like to have it: In a sandwich or a salad. For carb-counters, there are also wraps such as the Paragon, which rolls up grilled chicken with romaine and tzatziki. And if you’re not into chicken, you can choose from Philly steak, Montreal smoked meat and pulled pork. In the fresh salad department, you’ll find grilled marinated veggies, Caesar, lemon-prawn, mixed greens and pasta.

Classy food court
The Noble Grill makes its home in the Royal Centre food court in downtown Vancouver. If you’re lunching with friends, you may opt to take your tray to one of the private upholstered booths in the corner, where you can watch the news on the flat-screen TV. Solo diners can grab a stool at a long communal table and chat with their neighbours, or grab a small table and a newspaper for a private meal.
