All You Can Eat
For more than a decade Tanpopo Japanese Restaurant has been giving Vancouverites and other welcome guests all the sushi they can eat at its Denman street location. The restaurant has developed a solid reputation for using the freshest fish available and only wild sockeye salmon, never farmed. Of course, Tanpopo has all the classic maki, sushi and sashimi one would expect. In fact, the all you can eat dinner menu features over 100 different items and there are 45 to 50 selections available during lunch.

Great Patio
The 20-table dining room is dressed in traditional Japanese décor featuring bright colours and lots of wood. There is a sushi bar and outside you’ll find 25 tables on a patio with a great view of English Bay. Tanpopo is fully licenced and offers a number of special Japanese drinks including warm Saki and Sapporo Japanese beer.

The First and the Best
While most diners favour the all you can eat selections, Tanpopo also has a number of a la carte items, teriyaki, bento boxes, sushi boats and platters available. You may get away with walking in during the week, but reservations are a must at this popular spot on weekends. The first sushi restaurant to offer all you can eat in the Lower Mainland, Tanpopo Japanese Restaurant has maintained its status as one of the top sushi spots in the city by offering fresh tasting selections in a comfortable environment where everyone is treated like a welcome guest.
