Tall Timber is a family owned and operated public course perfect for golfers of any handicap. Designed and built by the Lindberg family in 1979 the club recently saw major improvements to the greens, fairways, and tee boxes. While the course has a reputation as one of the most scenic in the Langley area, the fairways and greens are still relatively immature. However, the green fees are some of the least expensive in the entire province. Tuesdays, golfers can hit the links at Tall Timber for only $18 and the club hosts a Burgers, Beers, and Bogeys event on Thursday afternoons where patrons are invited to enjoy a little golf and a great BBQ for under $20.
Staring Down the Water
The signature hole of the par 71 course, stretching 5,805 yards from the championship tees, would have to be the 180-yard par three third. Staring down the massive lake in the centre of the fairway is enough to give even the greatest golfer pause, but clearing the water hazard is always a confidence builder.
Comfy Clubhouse
After a round of golf the relaxing atmosphere in the Tall Timber clubhouse provides the perfect place to grab a drink or something to eat. There are daily drink and food specials, plus a patio overlooking the 18th green. The clubhouse is also the perfect place to host just about any event with facilities that can accommodate up to 85 people. If you are looking for a solid golfing experience that won’t break the bank, the Tall Timber Golf Centre offers pretty big bang for not a lot of buck.
