Beyond Pitch and Putt
Sunrise may have the same par as your average municipal pitch and putt, but that's where the comparison ends. The longest hole is 200 yards, and there are enough hazards and dramatic shifts in elevation to make it a challenge for anyone.<
A Good Grounding In Golf
The course is built on a BC Hydro transmission right of way, and a number of the tall towers come into play. Every once in a while an errant shot gets wedged into one. If it happens to you, consider it lost.
A Chip Shot Away
From more than you'd expect at a par 3. There's a licensed snack bar at the starter shack, and the fully equipped Jake Tuttle's Bar and Grill that sits in the Sunrise Conference facility overlooking the course.
Go By the Rodeo Grounds
Sunrise sits on Hwy 10 at 188th Street, so you can come straight out Hwy 10 from Hwy 91, or take Hwy 1 from the city to 176th Street, then follow 176th all the way south to Hwy 10, hang a left, pass a couple of cows, and you're there.
