Spreading the fashion
Sunny and Reshu Sethi started a small wholesale business in the early 1990s, hoping to spread their love of South Asian fashion to retailers. Their idea stuck and in 1995 they were able to open their own gallery store in Main Street’s Little India neighbourhood. The partners also organized the first South Asian beauty pageant and Miss India North America competitions in Vancouver. The ambitious entrepreneurs also opened a men’s-only store nearby, called Sunny’s Studio, and are looking to expand even more.
Crown jewel of India
Both the bride and groom, as well as the whole bridal party, can find some amazing attire at Sunny’s Bridal Gallery. Bright colours and reams of unique patterns exemplify what’s available in-store. They carry some of the hottest designers from India in a wide selection of choices. Women can choose from sarees, lenghas, suits, and kurtis to round out their wedding party’s apparel. Even those looking for non wedding-related clothing can find some gorgeous outfits for special events.

As mentioned above, men can also find some exclusive designs at the nearby sister store. Think original Indian jodhpuris, achkans, kurtas and kurtis garments, perfect for a classy groom and his best man. Accessories like matching jewelry and handbags are also available for the ladies.
