Hair Services
Strands operates as one of the first ammonia-free salons in the city, and provides a wide range of services for clients to choose from. For example, the Thermocut means the blades of the scissors are heated so that ends are sealed once snipped, preserving natural oils and moisture. Hair will regenerate more quickly, resulting in bouncy, shiny, easy-to-care-for styles. Stylists generally choose a balance between European and North American trends.

Skin Services
Strands also specializes in skincare, and radiance is what they strive to give each client. The services and products are designed to support the natural health of the skin. Regular in-salon treatments and daily use of a skin care regiment at home (keeping skin soft and supple) are encouraged. Their aromatherapy services feature pure, plant-derived essential oils that are used in deep-conditioning treatments, facials and skin and hair care products.
