Yes, at the Stonegrill, food is actually cooked on a stone, a piece of volcanic granite heated to exactly 400 degrees Celsius. But here comes the unique part! This piece of stone is delivered to your table with your food so that you may grill the meal as you desire. The extremely high temperature sears in all of the natural juices and nutrients, giving you a taste beyond anything you have ever experienced. Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe. In fact, your health is what the Stonegrill has in mind. By using a heated stone, your food can be cooked without oil or a marinade. Better yet, the food does not build up the carcinogens that would normally result from grilling over an open flame. An extensive array of steaks and seafood are available for you to try on your personal stonegrill. If you don’t like meat, never fear! There is also a vegetarian section of the menu.

Panoramic Views
The view is second to none. It is situated underneath the Granville Street Bridge on the north shore of False Creek. The main façade is directed toward Granville Island, but there are 360 degree views of the harbour and downtown. These views are made all the more magnificent by the floor-to-ceiling windows within the interior.

The Perfect Date
The Stonegrill is an excellent spot during the summer to take in The Festival of Lights fireworks exhibition. The rest of the decoration inside is very modern, done in an elegant and understated manner, which gives the entire place a Zen feel to it. There are ramps and an elevator for accessibility.
