Surrounded by the most celebrated park in Vancouver, the Stanley Park Pavilion itself is a wonderful green space. The Rose and Shakespeare gardens act as the centre of the horticulture experience and are bordered with perennial flowerbeds and ornamental trees and shrubs. The fresh smells and colourful gardens welcome guests to the pavilion. This has been the host of weddings, holiday parties, special events and conventions since 1911, and has seen the faces of many celebrities and politicians.
That Special Day
The most common rental of this venue is for that special wedding day. The staff are used to the preparations and offer gourmet food services, floral arrangements, photography and video services, live music and DJs, and even wedding cakes. For the guests, horse and carriage tours through the park are available, as are customizable gifts for when they arrive. Seating capacity in the main ballroom is 200, which includes an open space, two permanent bars, the option to create eight mobile bars, and all complemented by 25-foot ceilings.
For Any Occasion
If you’re in need of a larger venue than the 200 person ballroom, the adjoining Rose Garden Tea Room sits another 125 people, and the Veranda Bar & Grill fits another 30 with a 125-seat patio. The variety of options for seating and bar space is unique to the Stanley Park Pavilion and makes for easy alterations to suit each rental. These rooms have been used to accommodate product launches, private parties, corporate events and high profile occasions. Tour groups are also welcome to book the room for dining and have a special menu available to cater to large group needs.
