The Scene
This small, family-run restaurant seats about 45 contented diners. The decor is simple but the atmosphere is warm. They're open for lunch during the week and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. They are licensed but you might want to opt for a delicious mango juice to go with your lunch instead.
The Menu
You'll find a nice selection of Thai staples at the Singapore Restaurant. They offer a variety of subtly spiced noodle dishes. And of course, have a satay with peanut sauce for a starter. The Assam Chicken is spicy, and one of the more popular choices. Mee Goreng might tickle your fancy, or order the Kuy Teouw, which is a rice noodle dish that can be cooked with your choice of meat or vegetables. Lots of vegetarian choices at this Thai oasis.
The atmosphere at the Singapore Restaurant is sweet and simple; noteworthy noodles for both the novice and the initiated.
