With more than 30 years of experience in the business, Sharpey's knows their cycles. Excellent service is their mantra, and this bike shop is well known for their professionalism. In September 2007, ownership changed, and now this family run business has done a complete store make over, transforming the Sharpey's experience to a no-pressure, high end shopping extravaganza. Every corner of the store caters to the customer, from test indoor bikes to in-house flat screen TVs playing the latest biking DVDs – this shop will go the extra mile to please the customer!

Sharpey's is proud of their bike-savvy staff, who all have a mix of bike-smarts and passion for riding. They will walk you through the basics and make sure you ride away with the right bike for you. Sharpey’s caters to the Sunday cruiser down by the beach, the hardworking commuter, the BMX and dirt jump crowd, the hardcore DH'er as well as the mom and pops who want to strap their child to the back of their bike and go for a ride. If you already own a Sharpey bike, they also carry parts and accessories to make your ride sleeker and more efficient; as well as a large variety of men's and women's clothing from brand names like Norco, Activa, Fox and Loeka (for the ladies).

As avid community members, Sharpey's sponsors local biking associations and groups in Burnaby, and also participate in the annual Ride to Conquer Cancer events. The store also has plans to add a full service repair shop in their 1,500 square foot basement soon.
