Management Makeover
In 2005, when new management took over and renovated the interior of Sen Zushi, it was named one of Where Victoria’s 10 best new restaurants – an odd accolade for an establishment that’s been around for decades. Fortunately, the decor was the only thing that changed. From the outside, Sen Zushi looks like a Japanese temple. On the inside, its sleek minimalist decor marries traditional Japanese dishes, giving this traditional restaurant a modern twist.

Tailored to Your Taste
Meals are beautifully arranged and served as per your request. Slide on up to the bar for a combination of sushi rolls and sashimi plates, or pick and choose off the menu, from the quiet comfort of a private table. Main courses include tempura udon, soft shell crab, ginger pork and croquette. Tapa kobachi dishes, steaming soups, and fresh salads are also on the menu. Can’t decide? Try a combo platter of your own or share a larger one with friends. Sen Zushi makes it easy with everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-style platters, so you don’t miss a morsel.

Mouthwatering Matcha
Finish your meal with a Japanese cocktail and one of Sen Zushi’s specialty desserts. Grab your after dinner tea in frozen form, with green tea or matcha-flavoured ice cream. You can also always opt for the chocolate-y bacio bianco. Delicious!
