A Down Home Experience Downtown
Bursting with colour and culinary delights, Scoozis draws a mixed crowd off the bustling downtown streets. A cheery staff welcomes tourists, businesspeople and regulars alike. Owner Michael Stamoulis can often be seen wearing a suit and a smile and chatting with customers, many of whom he’s been serving since the restaurant opened in 1988. Scoozis has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and you’ll feel right at home in the harvest décor of baskets of fresh produce and warm colours throughout. The space also boasts the city’s longest sidewalk patio. Open year-round and kept toasty with heat lamps, the patio offers an excellent vantage point to watch the hustle and bustle of the city.

Serving All Day
Opening early and closing late, Scoozis has all the meals covered. All of the recipes are created by Stamoulis and homemade from scratch every day. For breakfast, try a light continental breakfast with lots of freshly baked choices, breakfast pizza, a New York steak and eggs or a hearty deep dish. In the mood for your favourite Mediterranean snacks? You’ll find them here too. Hummus and tzatziki with pita bread, calamari, spicy meatballs, saganaki and spanakopitas — are available all day. Pita pockets and minestrone soup are lunch favourites.

Sit With Us, Or Take Scoozis Home
Scoozis is hopping in the early evening as the after-work crowd pours in for happy-hour drinks and nosh. Dinner choices include lamb with roast potatoes, Greek salad, seafood dishes and a selection of homemade pastas. In addition to take out for single orders, you can also take Scoozis home en masse. Meatballs and spinach pies are for sale by the dozens. Tubs of hummus, soup and spinach pie mix by the bucket are also available.
