The large store is almost entirely filled with racks of clothing, ranging from jeans to bridal gowns to suits. They also have a large selection of children's wear. Take your time flipping through; you'll often find name brands still in style at very reduced prices.
What Goes Around Comes Around
After the vintage look took off a few years ago, they added a vintage section. It's worth your time just to ogle at the horrible clothing, and sometimes you'll find a wardrobe addition (or Halloween costume) for a few bucks.
Dress up your House
The back of the store is full of used furniture, some of which is very vintage-trendy. They've upped the prices lately, but some of the items are still a steal. And don't miss the home accessories section. Often quality items with names like Corning Ware are for sale, usually priced less than a dollar.
Where your Money Goes
There are lots of discount stores today, but few duplicate how funds are used to benefit others. The thrift stores are owned and operated by the Salvation Army. Funds are used on social service programming. You can drop off donations during weekday hours. The clothes go a long way in helping out Salvation Army programs. The Salvation Army has operated in Canada for more than 120 years, making it one of the most trusted providers of social services.
