Sachi Sushi is the one of the popular sushi places in Whistler and most locals and sushi fans would agree that it’s delicious. Dining at Sachi offers quality sushi dishes without the pretentious atmosphere. The restaurant is not as celebrated for its pro athlete and celebrity sightings as it is for the reasonable and fine quality sushi menu. All items are great; however there are a few select dishes worth trying while you’re there. The Tuna Zuke (Sachi’s variation of Ahi Poke), Rainbow Roll, Mango Roll, Cupcake Roll and Sachi Roll are among the top choices at the restaurant. What’s more is that large group orders come in a little wooden boat.
Ambiance
The dining area doesn’t offer much space, however, the atmosphere is bubbly and upbeat, which is great for families or a casual sushi date with friends. The kitchen is the focal point of the room and it’s entertaining to watch the sushi chefs in action right from the comfort of your own seat.
Location
Sachi Sushi is tucked away from the main pedestrian area of Whistler Village, this discreet location will make you have to hunt for it. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Summit Lodge Hotel and a short walk from the public library. Regardless of the location, this little jewel of a sushi restaurant is well worth the effort.
