Running Business
The Running Room was born out of a desire to have clients served by employees who would know more than a thing or two about running shoes. Seasoned runner John Stanton decided that he would fill this niche himself, unlike all the sport stores he knew. Stanton started out by opening a small, one-room store in the renovated living room of an old Edmonton house – hence the name Running Room. The concept was highly successful and has since expanded to over 72 locations across Canada and the United States.
