During the summer, River House guests enjoy brunch and dinner on the restaurant’s outside patio (which is heated in the shoulder seasons). Views of the mountains and tranquil marina, as well as the British Columbia sunsets, are the backdrop to River House Restaurant. Eagles are also a common sight during certain parts of the year. In the wintertime, head inside to the heated dining room, where views can be seen from behind large windows. The restaurant is located on the banks of the Delta Slough, so expect a quiet atmosphere akin to the countryside.
West Coast cuisine
The restaurant serves dishes like Jamaican Rum Ribs, halibut, free range chicken and AAA Black Angus steaks. Wine comes by the glass and in an extensive selection. For a bit more of a casual atmosphere, try the pub. Here, burgers and chicken pot pies are the specialty, along with some unique seafood options. Almost 10 varieties of draught beer are on tap, or choose from a list of over 30 martinis. A full brunch menu is also served on Sundays.
