A Stylin’ West Coast Lounge
Relish has a lounge feel with red lighting, dark wood tables and black leather decorative accents. The cleverly laid-out restaurant gives diners the choice of a seat by the windows or at a circular booth with red, suede benches. Black and white photos show various scenes of guests having a good time in the restaurant – and in the waterfall outside. Artwork by local talent – including some of the employees – adorns the walls. Large, leafy green plants and a salt-water aquarium remind diners they’re in supernatural B.C. A big fireplace keeps Relish cozy in the winter and patrons spill on to a massive patio on steamy summer days. A separate bar room is home to big TVs where all the hot games can be caught on pay-per-view. The jazzy joint was open in August 2004 by a group of young, innovative restaurateurs and has earned rave reviews from Vancouver’s tough dining critics.
A Menu for Every Mood
Reslish boasts a global menu sure to delight any palate. The menu is split into four sections – casual North American, Asian, Mediterranean and fine West Coast – to make choosing the perfect dish easy. Brunch is available daily and features a selection of eggs Benedict and a unique seafood hash and eggs. Relish’s imaginative meals are moderately priced and the wine is of especially good value with fair markups and many by-the-glass choices.

Relish specializes in group events and can accommodate parties of 10 to 250. The resto-bar has three distinct rooms – the dining room, the lounge and the private room – which can be booked individually or together. Bamboo and mirrors decorate the intimate private room, which can accommodate 25 guests. Dozens of high-profile guests have enjoyed functions at Relish – from NHL execs to filmmakers to government officials. Party planners can choose from an extensive list of set menus, appetizers and drinks. For an added touch, you can personalize your party with custom cocktails, appetizers and music. Private room can also be set up for working lunches with screens for presentations.
