For 12 years, Tri-Cities residents have been raving about Rehanah’s Roti’s. While the menu seems small and simple, it covers every kind of stuffed roti imaginable. For those who love meat and seafood there is goat, beef, chicken and shrimp – all boneless, farm-fed and spiced. For vegetarians – chick peas, mixed veggies, potato and spinach combinations. Rotis can be made mild, medium or spicy and receive rave reviews from all over town. Rehanah’s Roti also caters all kinds of celebrations from weddings to local festivals. Make sure to order in advance and all catered food is for pick-up only.
Just Like Home
If you are looking for a feel of the Caribbean, this little eatery will take you there. The lively staff and colourfully decorated walls are enough to make any patron (new or regular) crack a smile. Three cozy tables topped with cheerful looking placemats (covered with images of Trinidad and Tobago), eclectic framed art, upbeat Caribbean music and bright red accents inside and out of the store make the environment not just fun to be in, but fun to look at, too.
Old Port Moody
While someone may not expect such a lively little eatery in the old – and sometimes antique-feeling – Old Port Moody, without a doubt, Rehanah’s Roti not only fits in but has made quite the name for itself. With her cash-only rule (and a bank machine directly across the street) people flock to the quaint area specifically for her rotis. Conveniently located at the end of the Barnet Highway, people come from as close as Burnaby and as far as Seattle and Kelowna to enjoy this taste of the Caribbean.
