If you don’t get too distracted by the view, you’ll enjoy a unique and challenging course. Features include a blind hole, which is unusual for a public course but showcases the features of the land. Streams run through the rolling course, which is shaded by thick forests. Another distraction comes from the 60 varieties of birds that fly above the course and nest in the trees—and the maintenance shed (that’s where you’ll find the barn owls). The 175-acre, 18-hole course is par 71 and is open all year round.
Learn to Golf
If you want to stroll the links with confidence but feel your game needs some fine-tuning, the PGA pros at the Redwoods can help. No matter what level you’re at, private, semi-private and group lessons are available. The instructors will design a program that best suits your needs and helps you achieve your goals. There are also camp programs for youngsters who want to learn the strokes. The facilities at Redwoods are very conducive to improving your long and short game. The driving range has 21 covered, heated stalls and features numerous target greens. You can work on your short game on the putting green or the tiered chipping green, which boasts a practice bunker.
After the Game
After a day on the course, you can unwind in the casual restaurant, which features a large patio with great views. The private Mill Room off the restaurant seats up to 25 people and is ideal for corporate entertaining. There’s also a boardroom that can accommodate up to 14 guests and has its own patio. For large groups visiting the course for tournaments or weddings, the marquis tent is set up and can seat up to 200 partygoers. The expert planners at Redwoods can help you plan a spectacular and memorable event to the tee! And before you leave the course, a visit to the golf shop is a worthwhile detour. There you’ll find a wide range of golf equipment and apparel by top brands. You can also choose from a selection of products featuring the distinctive Redwoods logo. And if you can’t decide on a gift for a fellow golf aficionado, you can pick up a gift certificate or driving range credit card.
