An Arena Surrounded By History
The PNE has been at the heart of the Hastings Park site since the organization’s inception in 1910. Today, the PNE continues to manage all the local facilities and the park. The Agrodome is located on the PNE grounds and provides a great venue for the Vancouver community. An oval floor with a polished concrete surface is surrounded by more than 3,000 permanent seats. Additional floor seating for 2,000 is available for concerts and other events.

The Agrodome features an ice surface for minor hockey and figure skating events during the winter months, but it can also be used by local community groups for skating events as well. The PNE Agrodome also hosts sporting events during the year, including the annual BC high school basketball championships and the Hastings Minor Hockey League. You’ll also find here professional tennis, boxing, wrestling, and many special events.
An Icy Venue
The PNE offers ice time to Community Ice Groups in the Agrodome. The Community Ice Program generally runs from the third week in September to the beginning of March. Most of the preferred ice times are rented by the regular ice groups but there are early morning hours for adult ice hockey groups as well as some available time periods later in the evenings.
