The Plaza Stage is a popular performance venue, and hasVancouver’s natural beauty as its backdrop. More than 10,000 people can be accommodated for large-scale events at this glass-canopied, outdoor amphitheatre, the only one of its kind in Western Canada. There is bleacher seating for 750, and the stage hosts a number of corporate functions, concerts, and cultural events. Large glass walls provide a spectacular view of False Creek.
A Hot Entertainment Complex
The Plaza of Nations is an entertainment complex that is home to a variety of enterprises to entertain all ages. The Edgewater Casino is Vancouver’s premier Downtown gambling spot, and the gaming floor has slots and table games on more than 30,000+ sq. feet. The Plush Nightclub is one of the biggest clubs in the city, with two levels and room for almost 1,000. The Azure Lounge and Grill is home to Vancouver’s largest waterfront patio. The Plaza of Nations Marina offers plenty of opportunities to take an exciting boat charter, or just enjoy the view.

The Plaza of Nations was the heart of the 203-acre 1986 World Exposition in Vancouver. Now it is at the centre of a world-class city. BC Place Stadium and GM Place Stadium are moments away in an area that has become the entertainment cornerstone of the Lower Mainland. The downtown business district, trendy shopping, historical areas and first class hotels are all also located nearby. Quick access to Skytrain makes it easy for visitors to arrive and get around.
