Membership Privileges
The Playwrights Theatre, a development company that for some 30 years has been nurturing the development of playwrights in Vancouver, offers you the opportunity to glimpse emerging playwrights and their work. The company offers membership for an annual fee to playwrights who then can access dramaturgy services to assist them in the growth and creation process. Festival House is the Playwrights Theatre Centre's (PTC) studio and is located on the 3rd floor.
Spoken Word
In addition they offer a series of readings and workshops throughout the year. The year's highlight by far is the festival itself each May, which showcases the new plays and also gives agents and artistic directors access to new Canadian talent.
