Profile

Cool vibes at trendy eatery
Just look for the pink bicycle with flowers in its basket parked in front of a black façade and you’ve found one of the city’s coolest eateries, The Pink Bicycle Gourmet Burger Joint. The funky little spot in the heart of the city features lime green walls, chalkboard menus and mirrors lining one wall to open up the small room. There’s a fun, friendly vibe punctuated by outgoing servers and cool music.

Artisan burgers and more
From the blue cheese lamb to the seared Ahi tuna, Pink Bicycle takes burgers to a new level. The artisan creations also include favourites like the Metchosin mutton, which tops locally raised mutton with Gruyère and lime mayo, and the barbecue Island bison with smoked cheddar and bold sauce. Vegetarians will be delighted with choices like the Moroccan veggie, which features warm spices, garbanzo beans and dates. Enjoy your burger with sides like poutine with rosemary gravy, onion rings in local beer batter and truffle fries with your choice of 10 different dips. Wash it all down with a local beer or a Boylan soda.

100-mile menu
ParPink Bicycles is dedicated to sustainability and supporting local food producers. All ingredients are seasonal and sourced locally whenever possible. Organic meats from the Island include bison, lamb and mutton. Almost all of the produce comes from Island farms, and the fresh and tasty sesame seed buns come from next-door neighbour, Bond Bond’s Bakery. agraph3
