Exclusive custom design and personal styling services
In case you didn’t know, there is couture in Maple Ridge. Parisian Lady Custom Design & Fit Boutique is the brainchild of designer Christy McMaster, who creates custom, high-end professional and social women’s and bridal wear across the Lower Mainland. She is also a stylist, providing exclusive “personalized wardrobing”. She helps women fine-tune their look on a seasonal basis, or to coordinate what to wear while traveling. For example, a client recently asked her to put together all the clothes she would need for a week in Paris, and have it all fit in one small suitcase! Christy also provides personal shopping services. Initial consultations are on an appointment basis only.

Design your complete look
Whether a one-of-a-kind wedding dress or a classic tailored business suit, Christy can design and tailor it for a perfect fit that expresses your personal style. She can create a comprehensive range of apparel, including couture dresses, cocktail dresses, pants, capris, skirts, jackets, coats, vests, blouses, bridal gowns and more. When Christy discusses design details and fabric choices with clients, makes sure measurements are exact and then drafts the patterns. There usually four fittings in total.

Experience worth every penny
Christy started designing her own clothes from the age of 13 because she wanted to be original. She graduated from the Fashion Design program at the University College of the Fraser Valley in 2000, and went to work as a patternmaker and designer at Neto Leather for several years. She designed custom gowns for weddings and graduations, and was Wardrobe Designer for local Vancouver singer/performer, Taylor James.
