Ocean 6 Seventeen, tucked away at a quiet corner on Stamps Landing, is a charming gem of a restaurant. Opened in 2004, the restaurant has a 20-seater outdoor patio that offers grand views of downtown Vancouver across the sparkling waters of False Creek, the Granville Bridge and yachts moored at the nearby Heather Civic Marina. Inside, the space is warm and intimate with deep red walls and classic white tablecloths. A row of banquette tables provide comfortable seating.
A Taste of the World
The menu reflects Vancouver's mélange of cultures. It is a mosaic of cuisines from around the world, a combination of flavour and styles that tease and tempt the palate. There is a wide range of dishes – from seafood, seasonal vegetables to game. The ingredients used are grown locally with an emphasis on organic products. The restaurant offers weekend brunch of eggs benedict and omelets, all served with lyonnaise potatoes. Its lunch and dinner menu shine with creativity. Tasty dishes like boar wonton soup in smoked chicken broth, salmon and gnocchi, housemade sausages and a good selection of cheeses come out of the kitchen straight to your table.
Dine Out, Date Night
The elegantly designed dining room can seat 36 people. It is suitable for a casual evening out with family or friends, but will also work magnificently for a quieter date night – truly accessible to everyone. The space can be booked for private parties.
