I Love the View
Romance is in the air at the Observatory Restaurant at Grouse Mountain. This fine dining restaurant effortlessly combines mouthwatering West Coast flavours with the freshest regional ingredients around. Savour a scrumptious meal with that special someone while reflected in the glimmering lights of Vancouver. This memorable dinner with a view couldn’t get any more atmospheric.

Do the Twist
Each dish departing the award-winning kitchen arrives at your table resembling a mini masterpiece almost too pretty to devour. On the appetizer menu, discover local oysters in a sherry mignonette, oxtail consommé, and marinated mackerel in a blood orange emulsion. Not to be missed is the organic green salad topped with goat’s milk yogurt dressing, Okanagan cherries and pecans. For an exotic twist, savour the quail breast delicately topped with blueberry preserve and dried black olives.

A Sweet Ending
The Observatory’s menu features exotic delicacies that will please even the most discerning palate. Barbary duck gets flavourful with caramelized fennel and green peppercorn sabayon (sauce). Beef tenderloin basking in black truffle jus and thyme oil garners rave reviews. For an eye-raising twist, try the scallops with roasted pears and parsnip puree. When you crave pasta, The Observatory’s is what some critics deem the best around! The Observatory’s delicately prepared fettucine in white truffle butter tastes marvelous thanks to zucchini ribbons, roasted squash, sage, parmigiano and walnut oil. Finish off an enjoyable meal with a sweet ending of gourmet desserts. Savour a decadent vanilla bean panna cotta or the warm pear and cardamom tart.
