Imagine a dedicated family of natural healing and aromatherapy aficionados creating luxury products for the health of your family and home. That’s the essence of Nezza Naurals. Natural health expert Jim Trueit and his daughter, aromatherapist and massage practitioner Sasha Prior, began by selling their products at small markets and festivals around the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island before opening two storefronts: one on Galiano and the other in Victoria. Today, all the products are still handmade on Galiano Island in small batches to ensure their freshness. Nezza’s mission is to create the most natural, high-quality products to nourish the community as well as the environment.
Natural bath and beauty lines
From bar soap to body balm, Nezza boasts an exciting range of bath and beauty products. Basics include shampoos and conditioners, moisturizers and lotions, all made with earth-based ingredients that are packed full of nutrients and vitamins. All products have a list of ingredients that sound good enough to eat, including organics like aloe juice, lavender water, jojoba oil, sea salt, coco butter and fresh herbs. Nezza’s facial care line is deluxe and complete with cleansers, moisturizers, oils, masks, spritzers, serums and toners for specific skin conditions and tailored to men or women. For sore muscles, stretch marks from pregnancy and other ailments, Nezza offers an assortment of massage oils and healing balms. There’s even a special baby line that includes balms, oils and powders to nourish their sensitive skin. Handmade jewelry, accessories and a natural mineral makeup line are also available at the quaint store in Victoria’s historic Fan Tan Alley.

Until recently, it wasn’t easy to find natural, household cleaning products, but Nezza fills that gap. The shop sells laundry powder, dish soap, wood polish and anti-bacterial spray made with ingredients like lemongrass, apple cider vinegar and essential oils. Keep the air around you smelling fresh with fragrant room spritzers and a rejuvenating spray for your yoga mat. And don’t forget your four-legged friend: Nezza also offers shampoo and conditioner for pets.
