Probably one of the world’s few tastefully decorated seafood establishments, Nautical Nellie’s interior is cool and cozy. Sunset coloured walls are lit by low hanging lamps and complimented by rich, rosewood furniture. The restaurant also boasts a raised street-level patio that makes it the perfect place for downtown people-watching.
Nautical Nellie’s serves up the largest selection of fresh fish – local and imported – in the city. For those who prefer land-locked main courses, the restaurant also offers an assortment of fresh steaks, chicken and pork dishes. Saturday and Sunday brunch options include egg dishes from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch consists of express and light alternatives, as well as appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and fork-and-knife meals, like jambalaya, Indonesian stir-fry, and pecan crusted salmon.
The World is Your Oyster
Dinner includes the same appetizers, plus some evening extras, like soups, salads, pasta and risotto dishes, chops, chicken and market seafood and sides. An extensive wine and beer list provides the perfect companion for your gastronomical adventures. Fresh seasonal oysters are available every night at the rope-edged bar, and Nautical Nellie’s invites you to finish the night off with a blueberry and white chocolate strudel or chocolate sin dessert. If you can’t decide on just one, order the tasting box – a sampler’s delight! Call ahead to book your table today.
