Since 1993, Natural West Coast Adventures has been supplying their clients with safe and exciting outdoor adventures. They specialize in kayak tours, rentals and excursions. All of the instructors at Natural West Coast Adventures are experienced and love the outdoors so you can be rest assured knowing that you are in professional and knowledgeable hands. If a whole day-trip daunts you, you can start off with a “Paddle”. “Paddles” are social events that don’t require the endurance or experience needed for a full day trip, and are a great way to meet people.
Row, Row, Row, Your Boat
If you are looking for more than a Paddle, Natural West Coast Adventures has several trip options. You can book a day trip (suitable for novice to seasoned paddlers). This is a great way to see local wildlife and BC’s backyard without having to plan for a complicated journey. If you are a seasoned kayaker who loves adventure, there is a spectacular trip to Hotham Sounds, also known as “Harmony Islands” on the Sunshine Coast. This four-day excursion starts from a base camp and explores the Sound and surrounding areas including Friel Lake Falls. While you are on the island, take the opportunity to fish or snorkel, or both!
Rent-a-Boat
If you prefer to go solo, kayak rentals are available. Kayak rentals include Canadian Coast Guard approved PFD, paddle float, bilge pump, spray skirt, paddle and spare, whistle and throw bag. Additional rentals such as portage wheels and wetsuits are also available. Because of the expertise needed to go alone, customers are required to be proficient in self-rescue and assisted rescue. Remember, safety first, paddles second.
