Fine Cuts and Solid Traditions
Monk’s is a traditional steakhouse and inviting cocktail bar sure to satisfy any meat lover’s dining experience. The kitchen staff uses only the finest USDA Prime and Alberta AAA beef for all its steaks and prime rib. But the menu also features daily specials, top quality fish and seafood from lobster and king crab to halibut and B.C. salmon.

Casual in the Light of Day
During the day, the restaurant is a casual spot catering to the relaxed lunch and après ski crowd. But by night, the room is transformed into a more elegant fine dining setting. Big and cozy leather couches and chairs make the lounge a nice place to relax and have a drink while comfortable bench seating and granite tabletops ensure clients dine in style. Right at the base of Blackcomb, the views from Monk’s can’t be beat and the two large patios outside guarantee everyone can get a front row seat when the weather cooperates during the spring and summer months. The lounge serves up a great martini list, a number of beers on tap and a pool table. Patrons can also enjoy a selection of wines from the over 200 bottles Monk’s has available.

Quality in a Fun and Friendly Place
A little less pretentious than a stuffy old steakhouse, Monk’s has all the quality without the attitude. The restaurant is casual yet elegant and formal yet relaxed, so no matter what you’re looking for you’re likely to find it at Monk’s.
