In the heart of the village, the Mongolie Grill has always been a favourite of Whistler diners looking for something a little different. The create-your-own stir fry concept allows patrons to put together their own Asian-style meals, with a choice of top quality seafood and meats, fresh vegetables and 12 different sauces from around the globe . . . and that’s just the beginning of the fun.
Theatrical Grilling
Once you’ve grabbed a bowl and filled it with your favourite ingredients, it’s time to let the Mongolie’s chefs do their thing. The Mongolie Grill’s three chefs work around a massive, round propane-heated steel grill in the centre of the room. While cooking your stir fry to perfection, you’ll find the chefs putting on a show the whole family can enjoy. Stand back and watch the theatre of it all as these talented performers flip ingredients high in the air and juggle cooking utensils without missing a beat.
Upbeat Atmosphere
Conversations are never quiet, as the sound of the sizzling grill fills the room, creating a party atmosphere for everyone. A fully licensed establishment, the restaurant has a complete wine list and features a number of martini creations you won’t find anywhere else. Soup and rice are included in each meal and the stir fry is sold by weight. Create a meal big enough and you just might make the Mongolie Grill’s Wall of Fame. Beside the grill, the wall features one customer who managed to build himself a 4,000 gram stir fry.
