Something Old, Something New
Stylishly combining brand new “mint” fashions and the highest quality vintage pieces is the Mintage way. The style-setting boutique opened its doors in the summer of 2005. This funky shop quickly established itself as the go-to place for vintage fashion aficionados. The open space is the perfect place to showcase the thousands of one-of-a-kind items collected. Where the heaps of fantastic finds come from is a secret, which adds to the mystery and uniqueness of any purchase. A survey of the treasures suggests a primarily North American collection from the 1960s to 1980s. The collection of clothing, accessories and shoes is tightly edited, so you won’t have to push through racks of mothball-reeking t-shirts. Combining vintage and new into a single item, Mintage also sells reworked clothes, including pieces under the in-house Mintage label. New designs come from hot brands, such as Industry, C’est Moi and Lucy Love.
