Matteo the Chef
Matteo, once a chef to celebrity actors and high profile political figures in Montreal, discretely moved to humbly open this West Vancouver restaurant. Diners often do not even open a menu, simply relaxing to leave the dish choices and wine selections to Matteo or his wife, who runs the dining room. Most that eat here are charmed by the cozy atmosphere and authentic Greek ambience of the restaurant. Matteo treats his customers like his own private guests and diners, who arrive from all over the Lower Mainland to try his renowned dishes.

Greek Dishes Galore
Matteo is expertly picky about his choices. The menu is created with Greek traditions in mind and uses fresh products from BC to add local flavour. Top dishes are any of the lamb options, plus the halibut and octopus entrees. A long list of wines features some special vintages that are worth sampling.

Dining Experience
Couples can spend the entire evening talking and noshing before realizing that it’s midnight. Groups can book the venue for office parties and special events of up to 120 people. A private room is available for smaller parties of 35 people. However you arrive, make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy the welcoming staff, modern Greek music and pleasant décor. The restaurant is now open for both lunch and dinner.
