There isn’t anything quite like Mangia E Bevi Ristorante. This romantic hotspot in West Vancouver cooks up mouthwatering Italian delicacies from scratch. Homemade pastas. Delicately prepared sauces. Eye-catching starters. It doesn’t get better than this!
A Tropical Temptation
Step inside this fine dining restaurant and you’re immediately treated like family. An open kitchen atmosphere and inviting dining makes Mangia a winner. On the appetizer menu, savour beef carpaccio in a creamy parmesan truffle aioli. Mussels get flavourful with a spicy tomato broth. For an exotic twist, try the phyllo-wrapped figs with prosciutto and blue brie. A handful of gourmet salads are loaded with tasty ingredients such as oyster mushrooms and candied walnuts. A must try is the tropical salad, which brims with butter lettuce, fresh shrimp and papaya and then tantalizingly drizzled with orange-basil vinaigrette.
Succulent Lamb
When you’re short on time, savour a gourmet panini sandwich for under $11 a pop. Try the grilled chicken Panini, topped with grilled mushrooms, provolone cheese, onion marmalade and spicy chipotle aioli. A handful of delicately prepared pastas, such as the tagliolini in a classic Bolognese meat sauce with wild boar, shouldn’t be overlooked. Carnivores are in luck, thanks to Mangia’s mouthwatering menu featuring exotic game. Enjoy roasted duck breast with dried cherries, and marinated Cornish hen with cinzano mustard reduction. Or, how about the grilled lamb chops marinated in a mustard and pomegranate-cabernet sauce. You can stop drooling now... Enjoy your meal with a glass of wine from their extension wine menu.
