Catch the Game
Since 1992, the Malone’s Bar & Grill at Seymour and Pender has been one of the best places in the city to catch a game or even see a live band. While the downtown location has been recently renovated featuring a new bar area with 10 flat screen TVs, the other Malone’s, in Kitsilano, continues to offer one of Vancouver’s greatest patios right by the beach.
More than Pub Grub
At first glance the menu at both restaurants is filled with the kind of pub classics and health conscious choices you would expect from a top neighbourhood local these days. However, with a little further inspection you may be surprised to find upscale entrées like the cumin crusted pork tenderloin, braised lamb shank and portabella stuffed chicken at the Seymour and Pender location. Meanwhile, the Kitsilano location’s reputation for fresh made whole wheat crust pizza is far reaching. Either way, the food comes out in big portions and is always reasonably priced.
Great Specials and Promotions
Both locations feature nightly drink specials and great promotions and giveaways during Canucks games and UFC fights.
