Small Beginnings
The idea for Luscious Creations started in the heads of two enterprising people who had a passion for baking. They were cooking in their kitchen at home for charity organizations and local schools. The response was so positive that they became busier and busier, creating orders for neighbours and friends. The only thing to do was to expand, and they moved into their own space in Port Coquitlam where they could run their new business full time. It has proved successful ever since.
Have Your Cake… And Eat It Too
Probably the most common request is for customized cakes. A few icing artists head up the team and create desserts that are sure to please. The usual suspects are chocolate, French vanilla, amaretto and mocha flavours, while icing is best with lemon or cream cheese. If you have another idea, the folks at Luscious Creations will be happy to create something new just for you. Finishes are available in both fondant and butter cream icings, providing a delicious end to a meal or party. Even the shape of the cake can be custom made to fit with a specific theme.
Ordering In
If catering services are needed for a special event, this is where you’ll find a few unique options. Luscious Creations is able to serve up to 100 people in both banquet and casual cocktail party styles. Almost any range of need can be accommodated, from a simple dessert spread to a full buffet of entrees. Especially for dietary restrictions, the cooks are prepared to make entire meals to suit a diabetic, and can also make wheat-free, dairy-free and full vegan meals. These alternatives are particularly good for kids’ birthday parties, where some children have very specific dietary needs.
