The renovations of this site have taken Lola’s from a hiding place to one of the hippest hangouts in the city. Find your way through a narrow corridor sandwiched between two buildings to the side door entrance, where a small capacity, but upscale room awaits avid partygoers. Just a short distance out of the downtown core, this Kitsilano hotspot is a modern venue to socialize with friends and colleagues.
DJs Rock the Weekend
Although the crowds don’t usually arrive until late evening on weeknights, the place gets packed with regulars and newbies alike. Weekends are another story, with hipsters arriving early and staying until closing. A cover charge starts at 9pm, so getting there before ensures a quick entrance.
Relaxed & Fun
This intimate hangout has stylish furnishings and a great sound system. The drink special prices are extremely low on weeknights, rivaling any bar in the city, and ensuring the place is full almost every evening. Two pool tables keep those who can’t (or won’t) dance moving, and the friendly staff is always on hand to deliver more liquid courage or other sustenance in the form of food. The atmosphere is quite laid back and makes for a feeling of hanging out at a friend’s place. The well-known DJ’s are crowd favourites and turn out some of the most unique tunes on the block. The space is also used for fundraisers and private parties, if you feel the need to keep it all to yourself.

Note: The weekday drink prices here are almost too good to be true.
